I could not use any gates in my allys territory to unlock, so I captured one from an enemy. I spawned as far away as possible from an L-Gate. There's a massive difference between the occasional L Gate (which you can turtle up on anyway just like a choke point) and what the FRL methods caused. So, the L-Gate events are completely broken for me in a new playthrough. It's literally just 9 systems of nothing much except nanites.Īlso it doesn't change anything about choke points. The rest of the content is fine, but this part of the DLC is pure cancer.
